Katie Mae Amos

Katie moved to Fort Worth as a child and attended Kirkpatrick Elementary School. She was a faithful member of Greater Sweethome Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son Horace Chapel. She is survived by her children: Linda Chapel Shelby and her husband Patrick of Fort Worth, Joel Amos of Louisiana, Jacqueline Amos of Fort Worth, Michael Chapel and his wife Shelley of San Diego, and Constance Simpson of Fort Worth; grandchildren: Tanya Chapel and her husband Ryan, Shameca Scott, Vincent Amos and his wife Maleah, Tiara Chapel, Michael Chapel II, Traviaun Simpson, Ginnypher Fernando and her husband Eric, Mikyela Gonzalez, and Kayvon Simpson; great-grandchildren Kyla Amos, Kennedy Amos, Madison Amos, Adrian Scott Jr., Victory Amos, Zoie Scott, Maevin Amos, Dekotah Chapel-Rhodes, Dakari Fernando, Kayvon Simpson Jr., Raelyn Fernando; siblings Annette Richard, John Walker, Gerald Walker, Christine Graham, Verice Walker and Linda Searcy; as well as many other loving family members left to cherish her memory.

The family would also like to recognize her special friends Annie B. Randel, Thelma Childs and Ollie Gray Bell.
