Kathleen "Kathy" Elizabeth Cox Nance

Kathy was born to Robert E. and Mary E. "Casey" Cox on June 19, 1945 in Sherman, Texas. The family moved to Paris, Texas around 1950 and Kathy attended the local school there. She met her future husband in 1963 while he was in Paris on military leave. They were married at Central Presbyterian Church Chapel in Paris, TX on November 26, 1964 and then made their home in Fort Worth.

Kathy was a longtime member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, serving as a ruling elder when called upon. She also sang in the choir. Kathy spent 25 years with Fort Worth ISD before retiring.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; her two brothers, Casey and Bill Cox; and her son, Michael R. Nance.

She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Nance, daughter, Michele L. Nelson of Fort Worth, four grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; several cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 7001 Trail Lake Drive on October, 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Service will be led by Dr. Don Hogg, pastor.

Donations to Westminster Presbyterian Church may be made in lieu of flowers
