Katherine Ann McLaughlin

She was born March 11, 1960 in San Angelo, Texas, and grew up in Clute Texas. She graduated from Brazosport High School in 1978, and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in Business.

Kathy moved to Maryland with her sister, Gayle McLaughlin, where she began a long career with Farmers Insurance. Kathy worked her way up the ranks at Farmers, Manual rating to Underwriter before changing career to an computer analyst. Her last position was as a Computer Analyst for Northrop Grumman. Kathy was frequently praised for her astute grasp of projects she worked on.

Kathy was one of four girls born to Earnest Lee McLaughlin and Ethelynne Mary Mclaughlin.

Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved sister and best friend, Gayle McLaughlin, who passed away December 2021. Kathy's mother, Ethelynne McLaughlin passed away in May 2022. Kathy's father died in 1976.

Kathy is survived by her sisters Mary of Texas and Susan of Vermont. She leaves behind her beloved nephew Christopher, whom she helped raise. Also, she leaves behind her extended family of aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kathy will be very much missed, but fondly remembered by her remaining sisters and all of her family.
