

Juliette Taylor was born September 20th, 1926 in Ennis, Texas, the eldest of nine children to the late Joseph Emil Hajek and Jennie Lea Smith Hajek. The family moved to Fort Worth, Texas when she was 1-years-old.
A graduate of R.L. Paschal High School Class of 1943, Juliette began working for the Fort Worth Post Office at 16, where she assisted when the men had left for World War II. The women who worked at the post office during that time were known as “War Indefinites”. During her tenure at the Post Office, Juliette met James Taylor, and they married March 18, 1950. Their son, Mark Randall Taylor, was born May17, 1961.
She is preceded in death by her husband: James I Taylor; parents: Joseph Emil and Jennie Lea Smith Hajek; Brothers: Edward Hajek his wife Nina, and Wilbur Hajek and his wife Kay; sisters: Mary Jo Worthington and husband Raymond, Jeanine Richardson and husband Bill, brothers-in-law: Jerry Daniel, Brooks McDonald and Gary Matzner, and son: Mark.
Survivors include brother: Ted Hajek and wife Judy of Burleson; sister: Norma Lea Daniel of Fort Worth; Helen McDonald of Grapevine; Sharon Matzner of Burleson; Only Granddaughter, Julienne Taylor and fiance Scott Smith of Belleair, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
