Judith Grimes Miller, 76, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed peacefully with her children by her side on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at a Fort Worth hospice facility. Judie was born in Del Rio, Texas on January 28, 1940 to Myrtle and Jack Grimes. She was the youngest of four daughters. Judie graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth, where she was a pom pom girl. Judie married Sam Bargsley in 1958. Together they had four children and were married for 23 years, until Sam passed away in 1981. After Sam's passing, she married Jimmy Miller who also preceded her in death. Judie served her church as both a deacon and a Sunday school teacher. “Mimi”, as her grandchildren called her, was very active in their lives. She regularly volunteered at their schools, was present for countless football games, band performances, wrestling tournaments, cheerleading competitions, swim meets, and soccer games. She never missed a school program or play. Judie spent her later years caring for the elderly, something she thoroughly enjoyed. Judie was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Myrtle Grimes, sisters Jo Cowart and Jeannie Sandlin, and a grandson, Daniel Greer. She is survived by her children Greg Bargsley, Tim Bargsley(Shawn), Susan Greer(Tom), and Karen Oldfield, grandchildren Alex Bargsley(Heidi), Ian Bargsley, Miranda Bargsley, Alexis, Sara and Samuel Hodges, Sydney and Addison Oldfield, Austin, Alex, Stephen and Sam Greer, and great-grandchildren Jack and Aline Bargsley.
