Nita Kim (Russell) was born in Commerce, Texas in 1939. She was a long-time resident of Fort Worth and Crowley, Texas.
Nita lived her life for her family and was first and foremost a homemaker, loving wife, mom & Nana. She was the love of her husband’s life who preceded her in death.
She accomplished many things in her life such as being the first female photographer at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth, head seamstress for the Fort Worth / Dallas ballet and was a long-time troop leader for The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America.
She is survived by her son: Byron and his wife Glenda; daughter: Leilani and her husband Sean; beloved grandchildren: Kandi, Krystal, Kelsey, Kegan and Colin; great-grandchildren: Seth, Skylar, Kylan, Kaylie, Kynsleigh, Karsyn, and Kallaway. Also surviving is her sister Rayma and Niece, Donna.
