Joy was a camp counselor for the YMCA during summer
She was a community outreach coordinator
She was with John Robert Powers Modeling Agency of New York and London.
She graduated from Lake Erie College
A world traveler (all over the world)
She was passionate about life. She was eager to learn.
She was an Order of Eastern Stars member for nearly 50 years.
She was with the American Legion Auxiliary for 50 Years.
She was an avid supporter of children’s charities
She was a retired school teacher for the state of Indiana.
Joy was in a Fort Worth hospital. Kathryn and Rob were by her side every day.

Joy was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer George Rutenshroer and wife, Kathryn Helen; son, Brent Joseph Vuotto; son, Brian Elm Vuotto.
Joy is survived by her loving sister, Carol Rutenshroer Henning, of Arlington; loving daughter, Kathryn Holly Vuotto Krenn and fiancé, Robert Garcia, of Burleson; grandson, Keaton Bine Shelton and wife, Holly, of Blum; grandson, Ren Jovi Shelton and wife, Miranda, of Lewisville; granddaughter, Kylee Jordan Krenn, of Burleson; loving niece, Kimberly Ann Werdman; son-in-law, Bobby Shelton; her best friend, Kathy Lassiter Hudnall; great grandchildren, Kaden Shelton, Hudson Shelton, Laikynn Shelton, Kason Shelton, Jayce Siemons, Eryx Shelton; nephews, Michael Werdman and wife, Sandie; Mark Long and wife, P’or; Scot Long and wife, Cynthia; extended family including many cousins, friends, and penpals all over the world. Joy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Memorial Service and graveside service will follow.
