Joyce was born on November 20, 1945 in Dayton Ohio. A beautiful Soul that was a loving Daughter and Sister who became a loving Wife and a very strong and loving Mother who lived her life for her children. Nothing meant more to her than her family. Her number one job in life was being a Mother, and secondly a wife. Her main desire in life was to be the best Mother that she could be and the best Friend to everyone she knew. To spend time with her family and enjoy each other as long as possible.
She had a very strong love for animals and sometimes made everyone feel that she loved them more than her own Husband and Children. They gave her a great deal of joy and comfort. She treated them as if they were human and spoiled them rotten. There wasn't a time she didn't have pets.
During the last year of her life her favorite hobby was coloring. She would get so involved in it that 8 hours would pass by before she realized it. It helped ease her mind and helped comfort her. She really loved to have others join her and have a "Coloring Party" She kept everything that she ever colored and loved to show them off to everyone. She was very proud of them.
Due to many years of Diabetes, Joyce had Kidney disease and Heart disease that caused her to be in and out of the Hospital multiple times since December 2014. She never gave up, stayed positive as much as possible and always fought to live as long as she could, to be with us. She was getting tired and on her last hospital stay she found out that her Kidneys were not working any longer and due to her weak Heart condition there wasn't anything else that they could do. She did her best to stay strong and even during the time she knew she was going to be leaving her family, she worried about her children and how they were going to be. She said to her family, "Don't Cry- I am not good at Goodbyes and I am not going to say Good bye, only see you later"
