John RODGERS, age 89, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020. The lives of Sonnie and Hallie Rodgers were blessed with the birth of their son on April 9, 1931 in Floreville, Texas, On this wonderful day, John Edward was born.
At a early age he confessed a hope in Christ and was added to the Church of Christ by baptism. John finished high school and went in the Navy, then the Marines. He was there 31 years. He leaves with many fond and happy memories: his sisters; Bessie Lee and Demerrise Davis, He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and brothers. He also leaves a host of relatives and friends. A Special niece Kay Lee and a close friend, Joe Watson; Mr. Rodgers had a good life, his parents, deceased and 3 of his brothers are deceased.
