Joe Mize

Joe R. Mize, 85, a much-loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully with his family present Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014. His death was due to complications from a fall a week earlier.

Joe was born April 14, 1929, in Pilot Point to George and Mary Mize. He retired from General Dynamics in 1993. He was a member of Normandale Baptist Church and prior to that he was a longtime member of Solid Rock Church.

He fought the good fight, He finished the race, He kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7

Survivors: His loving wife of 62 years, Cleta Mize; children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved and devoted his life to. Nothing made him smile brighter than having his family around.
