Joe was born March 30, 1929 in Johnson County, TX to SD and Georgia Ledbetter. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 1114 for over 50 years. Joe retired from Bell Helicopter after more than 30 years of employment. He was a man of honesty with a caring attitude.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 8 siblings, and 1 grandson.
Joe is survived by his wife of 67 years, Maxine; son, Larry and his wife Laurel; daughter, Brenda and her husband Pat Marshall; and daughter, Janice Blackman; grandchildren, Cody Ledbetter and his wife Angie, Phillip Addington and his wife Lana, Lacy Ford, Laura Tippett and her husband Lance; great grandchildren, Cheyanne, Cherokee, and Shawnee Ledbetter, Eli and Micah Ford, Noah and Sadie Tippett, and Macy and Kaylee Addington; and great-great granddaughter, Briley; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
