Jocelyn spent most of her younger years playing at the beach, hanging out with her friends, and spending time with the ones she loved. There was never a dull moment whenever Mrs. Singleton was around. From taking her kids out in the middle of nowhere and teaching them how to drive and go explore with them, to taking her grandkids out to the park and out for ice cream. She was a kid at heart and constantly reminded everyone with not only words, but her kindred spirit. SHe loved buying the latest funko pops and having an entire room dedicated to it. She knew all the cheat codes and secrets on all the old arcade and Nintendo games, and loved reminiscing on the 80’s-90’s music era.
She was a devout Christian woman and loved the Lord with all her heart and soul. She would constantly remind her loved ones that if they had problems in life to always pray on it and ask Father God for his spiritual guidance.
She was married to Clifton Shane Singleton and stayed faithful to him for 15 years. They got together in 2006 and married October 10th, 2008. And since then have had a wonderful family with her four kids: Jacob, Matthew, Ashley, and Daniel; most of which have had their own kids so she was bestowed the name Nana... because she didn’t want to be known as a grandma! She was a Mother to most, a Nana to many, a daughter to two, a cousin to a lot, a lover to one, but forgotten by none.
Isaiah 57:1-2, which speaks of the righteous being taken away to be spared from evil and entering into peace.
