Jo Ann was born in Fort Worth Texas. She met the love of her life, Jim Culberson Sr. in 1952. They were married for 63 years. Jo Ann loved her family and was very involved with all of their lives. She loved to see her children and grandchildren play in all sporting events. Jo Ann was known to be the best host of any event. She made legendary Thanksgiving meals every year, and introduced a 20 year old family tradition of playing Bingo for prizes with all of the grandchildren after Thanksgiving lunch. Jo Ann loved to cook and bake. She always had enough dinner left over every night, just in case they had an unexpected guest or family member who decided to drop by; which they welcomed anytime. She had a servant heart, and was always willing to help anyone in need. Her favorite color was pink, and she made it a point to dress in pink anytime she could. She was a devout Christian and an active member of Sagamore Baptist Church for 50 years. She was loved to everyone who knew her.
