Jo was married to Bob Smith on February 11,1955. Jo spent most of her life in service as a nurse and loved helping others. She enjoyed the arts and culture. She enjoyed watching her favorite sports teams, both professional and especially her grandchildren. She was always the loudest cheerleader in the stands! She loved her family and spending time with them was what she cherished the most.
Throughout her life she had many pets, particularly chihuahuas, whom she loved deeply. You could always find a dog in her lap, and she could never pass one by without stopping to pet it. She was a devout Christian woman and served in her church. Jo and Bob had 2 children Jerri and David, 3 grandchildren, Brian and his wife Hollie, Laura, and Krystal, 7 great-grandchildren, Tristian, Faith, Colton, Summer, Lane, Baylie, and Madalyn and 4 great, great-grandchildren, Ethan, Ashton, Oakleigh, and Stetson. She is loved by many and will be missed dearly. Jo is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob, and their son David.
