Jo Elaine Jordan Evans was born in Stephenville, Texas on August 16,1944 to Joe and Bana Jordan. Died in Fort Worth, Texas on September 22, 2023. As a child she lived in Morgan Mill, Texas until the family moved to Fort Worth when she was 13.
Elaine graduated from Arlington Height High School, then went to cosmetology school and became a hair stylist for the next 50 years. She met her husband Garry Wayne Evans in 1966, and they were married for 57 years upon her death.
Elaine was the life of the party, and everyone gravitated to her because of her infectious personality, She played many instruments and for the last 20 years was the drummer at The Azle Opry. Garry and Elaine loved anything country western and would dance or sing whenever there was a chance. They have one son, Michael Wayne and there was never anything he wanted that they did not try and make sure he had, he was the joy of her life, and he has been a devoted caretaker for the last several years. Having been raised in rural America Elaine's love of animals was a mainstay of her life. As a child she had rabbits,goats,birds,cats and dogs, fish and even an iguana.
Heaven has truly received a special angel.

shelter or rescue.
A graveside service for Elaine will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park - FW, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134.
