On March 23, 1968, in Fort Worth, Texas, Able Tyler and Leatha Jones was blessed with a precious baby boy whom they named Jimmy Dean Jones. He was baptized at an early age at Upper Zion Baptist Church. He attended Polytechnic High School in the Fort Worth school district. He was employed with DHL Logistics company until he became disabled.
Jimmy was very caring and loving. He devoted his last days here on earth as a caregiver to his Grandmother. He was a genuinely nice, kind hearted person who loved cooking and spending time with family and friends. Jimmy was definitely his little brother's keeper. You would often catch them both cracking jokes on each other and laughing throughout the day. His hearty laugh and sense of humor was his trade mark.
Although, he never had children, his nurturing protective fatherly spirit made him a favorite amongst his nieces and nephews. We will alway cherish the beautiful memories he's left with us. His presence will definitely be missed.
On Monday, October 21, 2019, Jimmy passed away peacefully in his sleep. He is preceded in death by his Father, Able Tyler, 2 Uncles, Freddie Jones (JC), Sylvester Fisher (Wonder), and Nephew, Keyron Jones.
He is survived by his Wife, Mwanida Banda (Precious), 2 step sons, David and Andy Ayanda Banda, Grandmother, Catherine Jones (Mary Jane), Mother, Leatha Jones (Noot), two Sisters, Lisa Lawson and husband Curtis, Daisy Allen and husband Joseph, Brother, David Jones, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
