Jimmie Wynell Redding Van Hook passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 3, 2014.
She was born to Otis and Ruby Davenport on September 3, 1924 in Grandview, Texas.
Jimmie spent fifteen years working as a book keeper for Leonard Brothers in Fort Worth. Her family remembers her as a wonderful mother and grandmother who adored spending time with her grandchildren. Jimmie enjoyed crocheting and country and western dancing. She was a longtime member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church when she was physically able to attend.
Jimmie was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Harold Leon Redding, and her husband of 21 years, Frank Van Hook, her parents, son, James Redding and a grandson, Mike Redding.
Those left to cherish her memory include son, Charlie Redding and wife Dee, grandchildren, Jeremy Redding and wife Ester, Brady Redding, Michelle Girard and seven great grand children.
