Jewel Evelyn Swaim

She was born one of 7 children in Ranger, Texas to Elmer and Clementine Harris. She graduated from Ranger High School in May of 1944. She married her beloved husband Ralph J. Swaim on September 4, 1959 and they enjoyed almost 60 years together before his death on September 24, 2017. Together they built the Swaim Air Conditioning Company, where she worked for several years as the bookkeeper.

She was preceded in death by all of her siblings: Hazel, Maxine, Claude, Clifford, Wanda and Nell.

She is survived by her son Jay Swaim and wife Kristen of Round Rock, Texas, granddaughter Chloe and husband Dalton Davis of Austin Texas, granddaughter Olivia Swaim of Austin,Texas and many nieces, nephews and relatives who all adored her very much.
