Jett F. Jamison passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Jett was born Nov. 4, 1928, in Itasca to the late John W. and Eron Jamison. Jett served in the U.S. Navy from 1949 to 1951 and was stationed in Guam most of that time. He married the love of his life, Grace Marie Locke, on May 13, 1950. They had three children together, Candace Marie, Jett Clifton and Lois Elyse. He was predeceased by Candace in November of 1957. Jett worked in television at WBAP which became KXAS during his tenure as Station Manager until he retired in 1977. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Grace Marie; his son, Jett C. Jamison and his wife, Theresa; his daughter, Lois Peterson and her husband, Chuck; his brother, John C. Jamison and his wife, Carole, of California; six grandchildren, Justin Lewis, Candace Lewis, Amanda Davis, Ashley Peterson, Amanda Jamison and Thomas Jamison; and two great-grandchildren, Jaiden Ethan Lewis and Eleanora Carol Jamison.
