Jerry Smallwood

Jerry SMALLWOOD, age 74, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020. Jerry was born January 7, 1946 in Flint, Texas he was the only child born to the Parents of Jerry B. Smallwood, Sr. and Mozelle Brooks Smallwood. Jerry attended Emmett Scott High School and graduated in 1965. While working in Tyler, Texas, he met Linda Warren, and they were married a few years later. With this union, they were blessed with one daughter and one stepson. The family moved to Fort Worth where he worked at Shoreline in Arlington, and John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. Jerry was involved in church from a young age and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church (Flint, Texas), where he committed his life to Christ. After moving to Fort Worth, he became a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He was quiet and reserved man that loved to read and Photography. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mozelle Smallwood and father, J.B. Smallwood. He leaves to cherish his great memories, daughter, Wanda Kay Boone (Cecil); stepson, Darrell Warren; cousin, Betty Street; two grandchildren, Tenisha Boone and Cameron Boone; and a host of relatives and friends.a sister Betty; two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
