Jerry Wayne Davis

Jerry graduated from North Side High School and pursued electronics and photography at Tarrant County College. He was married to Carol Ann Davis on December 7, 1979. Jerry had a career in the Auto Parts Industry and worked for numerous auto parts stores and car dealerships. He was a Staff Sergeant for ten and a half years in the U.S. Air Force in the Civil Engineering Squadron as a Fire Fighter and Crew Chief on the O-11A Crash Vehicle. He loved The Lord and attended North Richland Hills Baptist Church until his health declined. Then he spent hours reading scripture and watching religious programs on TV. He enjoyed cars, drag racing, stock car racing, and collected die cast cars for a hobby. He was also fond of all types of music and played some acoustic and electric guitar. He enjoyed the great outdoors and especially liked cruising to tropical islands. Being a jack of all trades, he was handy with tools and carpentry, good at computer and technical skills, weight lifting, and photography to name a few. Through the years, his family and pets brought him much pride and pleasure. He was a kind man who loved all of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He remained young at heart and will be remembered and loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Carol Davis; sister Janice Jordan; brother-in-law “brother”, Buddy Coxsey; 6 children Julie Gaston, Michael Davis, Susan Davis, Belinda Lee Fong, Sharon Davis, and Elizabeth “Lizzy” Davis; 18 grandchildren Christie Owen, Tasha Gaston Keeton, Erica Gaston Cole, Jammie Davis Switzer, Michael Davis, Jr., Stormie Davis Norden, Brandon Wayne Davis, Curtis Sprouse, Amy Sprouse Biggz, Amber Sprouse, Lisa Fong, Paul Michael Fong, Kaleigh Allsop, Sally Clark, Katie Clark, Rebecca Clark, Sarah Clark and David Clark 2nd; 22 grandchildren plus 1 due in September Gabriel Owen, Bailey Owen, Oakleigh Keeton, Kensler Keeton, Lawson Cole, Ranson Cole, Carly Sue Davis, Avery Davis, Hadley Davis, Ryleigh Norden, Blakely Norden, Dawson Norden, Aliyana Biggz, Morgan Fong, Chanelle Fong, Tristan Fong, Ashton Fong, Declan Clark, Milo Clark, Mason Clark, Jasper Clark, Max Clark and a host of other relatives and friends.
