Jeff was born on September 23, 1963 in Naples, TX to Jay and Frances Carpenter. Growing up, he played little league baseball and played football for Paul Pewitt High School where he graduated. Jeff graduated with honors from NTCC with an Associates of Science Degree, and attended UTA. He was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Jeff enjoyed motorsports, golf, hunting, and the great outdoors.
Preceded in death by his father, Jay Royce Carpenter, Sr.; and grandmother, Jessie Myrtle.
Survivors: Loving wife, Shanna Carpenter; sons, Jeffery Dylan Carpenter and Logan Robert Carpenter; mother, Frances Carpenter; brother, Jay Carpenter; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Connie Deane; sister-in-law, Laura Lee; nieces; nephews; and many loving family and friends.
