Jeanne Alice Thomas

Jeanne Alice Thomas passed away December 12, 2017. She was born in Paris, TX on July 31, 1929 to Vernon and Clara Frances Parrott. Vernon taught school and traveled to Amarillo, Uvalde and Kilgore where Jeanne graduated from HS. From there she went to UT at Austin and graduated with a BFA degree. She worked in a radio Sta. KXOL before marrying Frank Thomas Sept. 14, 1951. Being an engineer, Frank was moved to Belvoir, VA. There was where Debbie was born in Oct. 27, 1952. Steven was born in Ft. Worth May 17, 1955 – these were the only children. She was a homemaker, a church kindergarten teacher, a soprano in church chorus plus many other fine things. Gentle, loving, generous, sweet, humorous, are just a few items in her personality. She is survived by husband, Frank; son, Steve; grandchildren, Bethany, and Evan; also by sister, Johanna White and husband, Jack White. Visitation: Friday, December 15, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Funeral Service: Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 10 AM at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
