She was born in Trinidad, Tx, on April 19, 1939. Janice graduated from Trimble Technical High School and earned a Licensed Vocational Nursing degree from John Peter Smith Hospital.
Janice had a career in nursing for 31 years at Wedgwood Nursing Home. She was a member of Wedgwood Baptist Church and had a great love for God. She belonged to the Fort Worth Collie Club and enjoyed showing her collies. Her passions were her family, gardening, and nursing.
She is survived by her children Denise Lopez, Anthony (Sue) Romo, Matt (Lisa) Romo, and Cindy Cox; grandchildren Roxanna (Efrin) Escoto, Florence Clap, James Olive, Kellie Hatcher, Travis Hatcher, Dustin Pina, Matt Romo II, Cosme Romo, Felecia Cox, Lindsey Cox, Jonathan Cox, Faith Gage; 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters Elizabeth Hailey, Dayle (Chris) Perez and many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by husband Antonio Reyes Romo, husband Ray Storey, son Michael Romo, and parents Hiram and Mary Long.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Friday, April 6th, at Wedgwood Baptist Church, 5522 Whitman Ave, Fort Worth, 76133.
