Janey Macks Carter

Janey attended Ohio State University while pursuing a MRS. degree and while employed, was recognized for the achievement of having the highest sales at her workplaces.

She enjoyed her “blingy” style and shopped for the latest fashion. She loved the sound of a winning slot machine, watching TV, listening to music and sitting in her backyard enjoying the sunshine on her patio swing. Janey enjoyed hosting many family dinners, caring for her pets and driving her cars, which were her pride and joy.

Janey is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Alan. She is survived by her daughter: Sherry Oden (and husband, Michael); her son: Bradley Lessem (and wife, Ellen); grandchildren: Lance Oden (and wife Lori); Shayna Coyne (and husband Michael); Whitney Stephens (and husband Cody); and Aaron Lessem; great grandchildren: Kylie and Tyler Oden, Michael James “Jameson” and Marissa Coyne and Jackson Stephens.

A graveside service for Janey will be held Monday, October 31, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery, 3100 White Settlement Rd, Forth Worth, TX 76107.
