James Neil Singleton

James is survived by his sister Linda Stahnke, daughter Cynthia Medlen, son James and wife Sheri, granddaughters Heather Medlen of McKinney, Texas, Melissa Medlen and partner Michael Berryhill of Fort Worth and Delia and husband Rob Thompson, stepdaughter Melissa and huband John Seifert, great-grandchildren Ashley, Dylan, Aidan and Amelia.

He is preceded in death by his wife Betty, the love of his life, parents Hugh and Lounette Singleton; sister Joyce Trojan, brothers Edward and Charles and son-in-law Glen Medlen.

James was born September 19, 1934 in Gorman, Texas. He graduated from Comanche High School in 1954. James moved to Fort Worth and began his career as a commercial HVAC technician.

James was a devoted husband and loving father; always a "big kid" at heart. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

A visitation for James will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, Chapel of the Chimes, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134. A funeral service will be Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Chimes, with interment to follow.
