James "Tyler" Larson passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the age of 31. Tyler was born, weighing ten pounds, on June 23, 1985, in Fort Worth to James Guy Larson and Jamye Williams Larson. A short 14 months later, the family welcomed his younger brother, Ryan Anderson Larson, who would prove to be Tyler's best friend and bandmate for life.
Tyler kept the standard set at his birth and grew to be 6 ft. 5 in. tall and 225 lbs! His big loving heart was equal to his physical size. He loved music and was an extremely gifted guitarist. Writing music and playing alongside his younger brother, who plays drums, was one of his greatest joys. They pushed each other for 20 years to become better and to master their instruments. Tyler was a dedicated son and doted on his mother Jamye, bringing roses to her almost every time he saw her because he said he loved to see her smile. Tyler never met a stranger, made friends easily and he remained loyal to them. He was a devoted dog lover, owning Jude, a red Doberman who was his pride and joy. Tyler loved fast cars, beautiful girls and good parties. Hopefully the place he is now has more of those three things than he can handle; as well as his guitar at his side for all eternity.
Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Magness Williams; paternal grandparents, James Anderson and Mary Larson; and aunt Barbara Daniels.
