James Evans Hawkins, 76, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017. Jim retired from Vought Aircraft after 31 years. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Past Master of the Tabernacle Lodge #1195, a member of the Scottish Rite, Mosla Shrine Fort Worth and the Flying Fez. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra of 51 years, parents: Jessie Hawkins, Judy Coffman and sister: Gloria Shaffer
He is survived by his children: Lauri Bell and husband Mike Bell, Michael Hawkins, and Darren Hawkins. Grandchildren: Kalyn, Megan, Amy, Casey, Morgan, and Garrett. Great Grandchildren: Acey, Lane, and Isabella. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Scottish Rite Hospital.
Service: 2 pm Friday May 26, 2017 at Laurel Land Main Chapel. Visitation: 6 pm to 8 pm Thursday May 25, 2017 at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park.
