Service: Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2016 Willis Lane, Keller. Celebrating the Mass will be Monsignor Jim Hart with Father Jim McGhee co-celebrating. Private burial: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Rosary: Will be recited at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel with visitation following until 8.

Jim was born June 11, 1931, in Copperas Cove to James Oscar Dupree and Colleen Bruton. He graduated from Lampasas High School in 1949. He served in the United States Air Force for 30 years with assignments in Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico and South Carolina in the United States, and Labrador, Greenland, Spangdahlem and Zweibruecken, Germany, and Madrid, Spain. He was deployed and served a year during the Vietnam War. He graduated with a B.S. in management from the University of Maryland while still in service. He retired in Fort Worth in 1979 and went on to work for General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin until 1997.
Jim was a sports enthusiast and was especially fond of Volksmarching in Germany. He played volleyball for many years.
He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and was a proud and active member of Knights of Columbus, serving as a Faithful Navigator and Grand Knight.
Survivors: His wife of 56 years, Margaret Sue Tamayo Dupree; son, James Henry Dupree Jr. and wife, Dawn; grandchildren, James Henry Dupree III (Trey), Matthew, Luke and Amy; daughter, Denise D. Dupree, husband, Bob Musch; grandchildren, Danielle and Connor Musch; brother, Hubert "Tex" Dupree and wife, Margaret; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
