Jacquelyn Annette Robinson, age 49, of Mansfield, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Jacquelyn was born Wednesday, September 13, 1972 in Fort Worth, TX. She is the daughter of Columbus Jones and Bobbie Wheatfall-Jones. She was the baby of her three energetic siblings. Jacquelyn began her Christian walk with the Lord early in life, where she was affiliated with the Church of God In Christ for many years, where she gained her Christian upbringing receiving the Holy Spirit. Jacquelyn attended OD. Wyatt High School and finished at Polytechnic High School, where she ran track and was a social butterfly. She had a profound love for music where she played the clarinet in the band, fashion and being a Beautician. Following high school, she went on to further her education in Cosmetology School where she received her Cosmetology License and began to practice. She had a very close father and daughter bond that she shared with her father to which she gained the nickname "daddy's girl". As life progressed, Jacquelyn met and married Thomas Carr, Jr., and to their union, one vibrant baby boy was born whom they named Xavier Tamar Carr. Also later in life, she married Duane Robinson to whom many blissful years of marriage were shared. Jacquelyn passed on Saturday, July 9th, 2022, at the young age of 49. She is united in Heaven with older sister, Pamela Crownover, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her only son, Xavier Carr (Marysia), and her grandchildren, Zadrian and Trenton Carr; her mother, Bobbie Wheatfall Brooks; her father Columbus Jones, one brother, Lamarcus Shane Jones; one sister, Heather Nix; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She loved her family and cherished every moment of being in their presence. Jacquelyn will be missed and remembered for her graceful spirit.
