Service: 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Mitchell Boulevard Church of Christ, 3209 Mitchell Boulevard., Fort Worth 76105. Wake: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel in Fort Worth.
J.B. was born Aug. 13, 1940, to Juddie and Fannie Malone in Sulphur Springs. He attended East Caney Elementary and graduated from Douglas High School, and was a member of East Caney Church in East Caney. He married Arena Faye Jones on Sept. 17, 1958. The couple moved to Fort Worth in 1962. J.B. spent his career working at General Motors and retired in 1980 to enjoy his favorite pastime, fishing. He would proudly show anyone his catch before bringing it home. J.B. will leave a cherished memory with all who loved him. He will be greatly missed.
J.B. has joined in heaven, his parents; wife, Arena Faye; and siblings, Leroy and Cletus.
Srvivors: His legacy and spirit will live on through his family. He is survived by sons, Michael Malone, J.B. Malone Jr., Antoine Williams (Katie); daughters, Linda Quainoo (Isaac), Rhonda Jones (Darrell), Barbara Garrett (Stanley), Charlette Nelson (Tony); sister, Iva Jean Hawkins; brothers, Van Malone (Geraldine) and Curtis Malone; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and dear friends.
