Irma was born April 10, 1923, in Fort Worth to Grover Cleveland Boydston and Ophie Love Hagood. She was raised in the Saginaw and Haslet areas, and her door was always open to those in need. Irma was a loving mother, grandmother and "Mamaw."
She was preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 61 years, Labe L. Hawkins Sr.; son, Wilbert Hawkins; and daughter, Minnie Fleming.
Survivors: Children, Labe L. Hawkins Jr. and wife, Linda, Cleve Hawkins and wife, Nancy, and Jerry Hawkins and partner, Bessie Becker; daughter-in-law, Wanda Hawkins; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Wilbert O. Boydston and wife, Sally, of Santos.
