Iris Lavern Webb

Iris Lavern Webb born August 27, 1920 went to be with her Lord on Monday October 23, 2017. Service Saturday October 28,2017 at South Park Baptist Church of Fort Worth at 10 am. Interment at 4:00 pm at Faulkenberry Cemetery, Groesbeck, Texas. Visitation Friday October 27, 20176 at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Iris was born in Cranfills Gap in Bosque County, Texas. Iris married Thomas J. Webb on October 30,1938. They lived in Groesbeck all of their married lives. Iris moved to Fort Worth in June, 2006. Iris worked at the Groesbeck elementary cafeteria and the Mexia State School. Iris was preceded in death by her husband Tom Webb and her parents parents Roy and Clara Daniel, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors: children Linda Sue Webb Henry and Husband Gaylan Henry, Peggy Lou Webb Horn. Grandchildren David Henry, Dennis Henry, Karen Cooper and husband Jon, Richard Horn and wife Stephanie, Pamela Horn Dobbs, and husband Gary. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be: David Henry, Dennis Henry, Richard Horn, Jon Copper, Gary Dobbs. Honorary Pallbearers: Braden Henry, Darren Henry, Daniel Henry, Corben Henry, Ethan Henry, Ryan Studdard, Austin Bartlett. Officiating the service will be Bro. David Pickard, and Bro. Troy Brooks.
