Imogene Kennedy

Service: 11:00 a.m. at Pleasantview Baptist Church, 4400 Pleasantview Dr. Arlington, TX 76017. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.

Imogene was born September 11, 1918 in Dodd City, Texas to Hulda Ann Shannon and Shelby Ernest Marchant.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harlan Kennedy, brothers Thurman and Hobart Marchant and sister Obera Butler.

Survivors: daughters, Bennie Hawkins and Linda (Hardy) Thomas; grandchildren, Cindy (Bill) Ramsey, Dan Stacy,Keith Hawkins, Ken (Robin) Hawkins,great-grandchildren; Shannon (Rick) Townsley, Billy (Whitney) Ramsey, and Steven Stacy, great-great grandchildren, Sam and Emma Townsley, brother S.E. Marchant, sister Betty Strubble and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
