Hubert served his country for 32 years, finishing his military career at the Pentagon and retiring as a Colonel in the Air Force. He began his civil service career at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Hubert was active in his church at Southside Church of Christ and other churches in areas he resided in. His family remembers him enjoying fishing when he had the extra time, wood working, and his rose garden in which he had over 100 rose bushes. Hubert served as the President of the Rose Club of Fort Worth for a number of years while cultivating his love for roses.
Hubert is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Nadine Simmons, Aleene Reed, and wife of 65 years Joyce.
He is survived by his sons, Don Dutton and wife Debbie, Ron Dutton and wife Carolyn, grandchildren, Chris Dutton, Wade Dutton, Drew Dutton and wife Tamara, Amber McGarry and husband Chad, great grandchildren, Hunter Dutton, Maddox Dutton and Gentry McGarry.
