Mr. Howard Lee Mitchell

Howard L. Mitchell was born to Douglas and Jessie Mitchell March 8, 1960 in Como, Texas.

He graduated from Western Hills High School then joined the United States Air Force June 1978.

He retired from the USAF June 1998 as a Craftsman and Training Instructor for 20 years.

Afterward he received a BA in Business as well as going to Nursing School.

Howard liked a challenge and was a hard worker. He was an avid taekwondo fighter. His passion for basketball, music, children and family were his greatest gifts. He enjoyed helping others and his dedication to family didn’t go un-noticed. He was extremely generous and showed compassion toward anyone in need.

He met his wife Jacqueline Mitchell (Darton) in 1989 and married in December 1991.

Moved to Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska for 6 years where he retired from USAF after 20 years.

moved to Chandler, AZ with his wife Jackie and his son DeAunte Mitchell.

With their Passion and love of their family they moved back to Texas. He helped reared his & her grandchildren Xavier Atkins, Nya and Jalan Lofters;

He is preceded in death by his parents Douglas and Jessie Mitchell, Aunts and Uncles.
