Harold G. Spencer

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 2:00 pm., at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, 7301 E. Lancaster, Fort Worth, with Pastor Nathan Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Betty Canady Spencer of Hurst; two sons: James Spencer and wife Kim of Granbury, and Doyle Spencer and wife Lydia of Roanoke; one daughter: Darla Obermeyer and husband Dwayne of Weatherford; his sisters: Renois Rasberry of Stephenville, and Florene Tipton of Lipan; six grandchildren: Tami Ward, Tina Thao, April Jones, Kayla Bennett, Carl Spencer, and Scott Spencer; nine great grandchildren: Madison Jones, Jake Jones, Owen Bennett, Remi Bennett, Landon Spencer, Peyton Spencer, Addison Spencer, Hanson Ward, and Chay Thao; one stepdaughter, Barbara Canady; two stepsons, Randall Canady, and Larry Canady; three step grandchildren Billy Canady, Kelli DeVito and Beth Anderson; six step great-grandchildren Dominic, Ashton, Jonah, Madison, Mitchell, and Nathan; and many nieces, nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Harvey, Eldon, Freddie; and sister Erma.

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Monday, February 10, 2014 from 5 to 7 pm, at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
