He worked as an auto mechanic for most of his life but loved fishing on his free time. Harold was a devoted man of God and served as a member of the First Baptist Church in Benbrook. Harold was a great family man and loving father. He married Betty Crowder in 1960 and together they had two children.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Almos and Annis Lasater of De Leon, Texas; his brothers, Larry Lasater of Midland, Texas, and Glen Lasater of De Leon, Texas.
Harold is survived by his devoted wife, Betty Lasater of Fort Worth, Texas; son Jackie and his wife Karen Lasater of Weatherford, Texas; and his daughter, Mary Meroney of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandkids; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Chimes at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
