Gloria Rachel (Granny Rae) Smith was born Sept. 25, 1935, in Blossom, Texas, and died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017 in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel, Fort Worth. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth.
Visitaion: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel.
Gloria was a graduate of Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School and was retired from Montgomery Ward. She was a lifelong volunteer in Birdville ISD, and Honorary Mayor of Haltom City.
