Gloria Johnson

Life Story:

Gloria Nell Johnson born November 15th 1935, died on March 18th 2023. She was adopted by Mrs. Ara Williams and husband. She attended Our Mother of Mercy Catholic School in Ft. Worth Texas.

Upon the death of her parents she was reared by her Guardian Parents, Andrew (Papa Pete) and Earnestine (Mama Stine) Johnson, with the Tatum/Henderson Family becoming a part of her village. She attended business school and, upon completion, landed a job with Sephia Magazine published by the Good Publishing Company. She obtained culinary skills while employed at the Ridglea Country Club. She retired in her latter years from Anderson

Laboratory.

She was blessed with 4 children Ara, Yvonne, & Johnny. She met and married Lonnie Johnson. In this union the fourth child was born Gloria Lonnai.

Gloria spent her life being a caregiver, nurturer. She gave selflessly to those in need expecting nothing in return.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Guardian Parents, Andrew and Ernestine Johnson; Husband, Lonnie Johnson; Granddaughter, Amber Brown; & Grandson, Johnnie Williams Jr.

Survived by 4 Childrens, Ara Brown, Yvonne Dials, Gloria Crockett (Paul); Son, Johnny Williams (Sabrina); Grandchildren, Lloyd Wheatley Jr., Jerome Wheatley, Toyesha Williams. Jajuan Williams, Paris Crockett, Mikaela Brown, Nija Williams, London Crockett, Diamond Crockett, Jarina Williams, & Tayah Williams; 7 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives & friends.
