Gilbert John Dempsey Jr.

Gilbert John “Jack” Dempsey Jr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at his residence. He was born on January 19,1933 in San Antonio Texas. He married Sandra K Larsen on February 20, 1954. He served in the Navy and fought in the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He retired from General Dynamics after 36 years of faithful service. He designed part of the F16 fighter cockpit instrument panel. He worked on several top secret projects while employed by General Dynamics. He was a gifted engineer and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t build or fix. He was always willing to lend a helpful creative hand to anyone who needed it.

He survived by his loving wife Sandra, his brother Pat Dempsey. Along with his son Stephen, daughter Lisa and son Bryan. Also many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Family, friends and others whose lives Jack touched are invited to the visitation and graveside service to be held on Thursday November 29, 2018 starting at 11am. We will then move to the graveside service at 12. Funeral to be held at Shannon Rose Hill 7301 E Lancaster Ft Worth 76112.
