George Mauron McCauley of Fort Worth Texas, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 at the age of 94. George was one of three triplet boys born in Hillsboro, Texas on February 29, 1924. He was married to Doris Coleman on October 23, 1946 in Hillsboro, Texas.George worked as a maintenance mechanic and spent his career keeping many factories in the area running.He was an avid outdoorsman and was proud of his lawn that he maintained until he was 93. He loved his family and always looked forward to family gatherings.He was a deacon in the Church of Christ for 40 years will calling to work in the Benevolence Ministry. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Bertha McCauley; six siblings; daughter, Kay Harris; granddaughter, Pam Harris; and son-in-law' Brint Harris.
George is survived by his wife of 69 years, Doris McCauley; son' Cliff McCauley and wife Denisa; grandchildren ;Ben Harris and wife Melissa, Laura Kauer and husband Benny, Aaron McCauley and wife Rachel, Ashley Geistweidt and husband Matt; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Kaylin Kauer and Reagan and Nolan Geistweidt.
Funeral service: 12:30pm Saturday September 29, 2018 at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Visitation: will begin at 11:30am prior to service. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Benevolence Ministry at the Southside Church of Christ in Fort Worth, Texas.
