George Edward Lupton

Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

George was born Nov. 29, 1931, in Wichita Falls to George Robert and Mary Margarette Lupton. He served our nation in the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of airman first class and receiving the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.

He married Lamied Lupton. He loved to spend his time building model airplanes from scratch, playing video games with his grandson and fixing cars.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father and his sister.

Survivors: His wife, Lamied Lupton; children, Linda Gomez, Vasana Lupton, Metta Kruapansak, Nit Kruapansak and Margarette Wooley; grandchildren, Austin Gomez, Samantha Kruapansak, Diana Kruapansak and Amitta Kruapansak; brother, Robert Lupton; and aunt, Maureen Martin.
