George was born in Fort Worth, TX and graduated from Paschal High School, he them went on to work for the US Government until retirement.
For years he enjoyed traveling to Ouray, CO for the summer months. He enjoyed being with family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, TW Carter and Maxine Carter and brothers Joe and Tommy Carter.
Survived by his children Stephen Carter/Ashlee and Ryan Jones/ Rocky, sister Penny Cahoon/Randy 5 grandchildren, Sidney Baker, Reece Ahrvide, McKynlee Carter, Hudson Salazar and Grange Carter and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial service is Friday at 10:00 am at Laurel Land Funeral Home at the Chapel of Chimes.
