Mr. Frankie C. Howell

Mr. Frankie Carl Howell departed this life on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. Affectionately called “Frankie C”, he was born July 2, 1949 in York County, South Carolina to the late Guinell Simmons and James Thomas Howell, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Henry and Mabel Childress, stepfather, Large Hill, brother, James Thomas Howell, Jr., sisters Mabel Farmer and Annie Howell.

Frankie graduated from William Penn High School in the class of 1968. He enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served for 20 years. After the military, Frankie worked with the United States Postal Service in Fort Worth, Texas for 17 years until his retirement.

He leaves to cherish his memories, daughter, Felicia Howell, son, Kevin Howell (Cynthia Howell, mother) of Houston, Texas, and daughter, Brittany Johnson of Arlington, Texas, sisters, Betty McLean, Hattie Hill, and Janet Graham all of High Point, North Carolina, brother Jerry Hill (Octavia) of Fayetteville, North Carolina, stepdaughter, Tasha Kendrick (Terri Kendrick, mother) of Fort Worth, Texas, four grandchildren, Nicholas Howell, Tyriah Allen, Tyler Allen, Kevin Howell, Jr., and one great grandchild, Kendall Carter all of Houston, Texas, a devoted niece, Owennetta Hamrick (Jewel) and Jewel “Jay Arthur” Hamrick of Cypress, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
