Frank "Weldon" McDonald was born on May 17th, 1936 in Pattonville, Texas. Weldon was raised in Lamar County, Texas by his grandparents after the death of his parents. Weldon later moved to Fort Worth, Texas where he married the love of his life Delores on July 23rd, 1957.
Mr. and Mrs. McDonald resided in Everman, Texas where they raised their three children; Barry, Kelli and Kristi. Weldon was a fun, loving, outgoing, thrill seeking, hardworking man who worked as a Union Glazier for well over 40 years. Weldon never met a stranger. He knew how to really talk to a person as if he had known them forever. Weldon was a positive influence to everyone around him.
Weldon died on June 14th, 2022 at Harris Hospital.
Weldon was preceded in death by grandparents Ned Lee McDonald and wife Lula Lansford; parents Rhosco Buford McDonald and wife Ruby Estelle (Fields) McDonald, siblings; Donald Lee McDonald, Harold McDonald and Marie Savant, and son Barry Weldon McDonald.
Weldon is survived by his wife Delores McDonald, sister-in-law Linda and husband Jo Renick, brother-in-law J.D. Garrett, children, Kelli and husband Jess Chambers, Kristi McDonald, grandchildren; Brandi and husband Mark Coulston, Ryan Broom, Jake and Kendall Chambers, and Reagan Broom; and great grandchildren, Payton and Tasha Coulston, and Levee Chambers.
