Frank was born on January 18, 1930 in Fort Worth, to Frank Burke and Hortence Ward.
Frank attended I. M. Terrell High School and was a graduate of Class of 1948 after completion of High School, he served his country in the U.S. Army.
Frank was employed with the Railroad and retired after 42 years of service.
Frank was raised as a child in Mt. Olive Baptist church of Fort Worth, but later in life joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. A.E. Chew where he was a member for over 60 years. He served in various positions Trustee, Deacon, President of The Usher Board, Member of the Male Chorus and Office of North Texas District Ushers.
Frank was preceded in death by the love of his life Madaline after 55 years of marriage.
He leaves to cherish his memory Sons, Michael Burke and Anthony Burke (Chandra) of Dallas, Texas
Four Grandchildren, Aunja Burke, Kelly Burke (Lois), Bryan Burke, and Briana Burke. Brother, Erwin Burke of Denver Co., Brother-n-law, Sanders Marshall of Houston, Tx., Sister-n-law, Lady Walker, of Fort Worth, TX., Five Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
