She is the loving mother of Walon Johnston and his wife, Kim; Tyda Keener and Shelly Hill and her husband, Brandon; loving grandmother to Kalon Johnston, Kaylee Ray Medrano, Kristopher Hume, Cayenne Green, Chasey Hill and Brandon Hill; loving great grandmother to Matthew Salazar, Nick Salazar, Eva Salazar, Wyatt Johnston, Sonia Medrano and Markie Medrano; loving sister to Ruth Edwards and her husband Harry and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Johnston.
She was a loyal babysitter who kept children for multiple generations and loved every minute of it. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and never found fault in anyone.
Family will receive friends from 3 pm to 5 pm, Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Home, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76148. Graveside Service will be held at 1 pm, Monday, October 7, 2019 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas.
