Forrest Wilson Brown

Service: A Memorial Service will be held 10am. Saturday, May 7th at University Christian Church, 2720 S. University, Fort Worth, 76109. Burial: Graveside services with Full Military Honors will follow at 11:30am. at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth.

Mr. Brown was born February 13, 1916 in Garvin, TX. to Thomas Preston and Annie Porter Brown. He served in the United States Air Force for 21 years from 1941 to 1961 as a Master Sergeant. He was stationed in Europe from 1942 to 1945 during World War II and in Japan from 1956 to 1958. After retiring from the Air Force, he went to work for the Civil Service as an Archivist at the Federal Records Center. He was a longtime member of University Christian Church. Forrest was a loving husband and father. He was honest and kind to everyone. Forrest was preceded in death by his son David Wilson Brown.

Survivors: His loving wife of 64 years, Ann Brown; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Buddy Baker; grandchildren, Forrest, Preston and Bronwyn Baker; sister, Clara Tingle as well as his extended family.
