Florence Jackson

Florence JACKSON, age 75, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Florence Jewel Wilson Jackson was born on November 12th, 1946, to Joe and Ellen Wilson in Fort Worth Texas. She was the 5th of 8 children. Florence accepted her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ at an early age. She could often be seen ministering through song with her family and church choir. She loved the Lord and had no problem sharing His love with anyone she encountered.

Florence graduated from Kirk Patrick High School as a proud member of the class of 1965. She later obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education from Prairie View A&M in 1970. Florence worked in the field of education for over 40 years. She retired from the Fort Worth ISD after teaching Special Education at Riverside Middle School for over 20 years.

Florence met the love her life Billy Don Jackson and they married and raised 2 daughters. They spent a lifetime of loving each other while pouring into the lives of many.

Florence is proceeded in death by her parents, husband Billy, brothers Joe and Sherry Mack, sisters Bobbie, Dorothy, Linda, and Mollie.

She is survived by her brother Chester Wilson (Carolyn) daughters Kerri Tolbert and Jetti Ridley (Kenneth), granddaughters Brooklyn and Kayden and grandsons Gabriel and Lyric as well as a multitude of beloved nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
